 I adopted my maltipoo Daphne 15 months ago at age 4. She is completely blind, having been diagnosed with complete degeneration in her left eye, and detached retina and Glaucoma in the right eye. As a practitioner of Angel Empowerment Hands On Healing, I did about 6 sessions on Daphne’s eyes. The difference I noticed right away is that the fluid that drained from her eyes decreased significantly. I had to clean it from around her eyes almost daily. Now I only clean it about once a month.
During a recent visit to the vet, I learned that there is nothing for them to do regarding the degeneration or the detached retina. Those are considered permanent and won’t cause any further issues for Daphne. However, they do want to monitor the intraocular pressure associated with the Glaucoma in her right eye. Depending on how high the pressure is, there may be a need for treatment so that Daphne is comfortable and can keep her physical eye. Today was the pressure test and it was COMPLETELY NORMAL, which means there is no indication that she has Glaucoma at all. The vet is quite perplexed at how the rescue agency’s vet made the diagnosis in the first place. She sent the pictures of Daphne’s eyes to an ophthalmologist for further consultation. I believe the AE Hands On Healing cured the Glaucoma. Daphne is still completely blind due to the other conditions but will be free of any further complications. What is the difference between Angels, Guides, and Spirits? Where do my deceased loved ones fit in? I've been listening, reading, and learning for a long time and I get very confused with the terminology used by different experts and teachers. Just when I thought I had made sense of it all, someone new would come along and I would be confused again. I finally consolidated information that I had found and came to the following conclusion that feels right to me at this moment. Of course, you are welcome to choose the words that make sense to you, and you can always change your mind :) It is difficult to give credit to any particular sources because there are so many. But here is what I have concluded. AngelsWith any term using the word Angel, I describe them as beings that have never been in human form (with few exceptions). By definition, Angels are messengers of God. They are around us all the time. Their energy is universal, meaning they can be everywhere at once. Angels are beings of light who can provide you with guidance, assistance, protection, and comfort when you ask. In addition to general Angels, there are Guardian Angels and Archangels. Guardian AngelsGuardian Angels are personally assigned to you for your entire life. They are there to assist and guide you whenever you ask. According to Doreen Virtue, you will have at least two from birth, most likely three or more. Additional Guardian Angels may be assigned to you at different points in your life. Once they are with you they never leave. Archangels Archangels supervise the Angels and Guardian Angels. Archangels can provide you with powerful assistance immediately when you ask. There are 16 main Archangels that I work with. SpiritsWith any term using the word Spirit, I describe them as beings that have had a human experience. They are deceased relatives, friends, or pets who keep a connection with you after they cross over and may be of assistance to you. They can only be in one place at a time so they are not likely with you constantly. When you feel a strong and continuous connection to a particular loved one who has crossed over, and believe they are watching over you, they are often referred to as a Guardian Angel. By definition, that is not the correct term so the use of it has been my biggest source of confusion. The spirit for me that meets this description -- I just call him Grampa. In addition to general Spirits, there are Spirit Guides. Spirit GuidesSpirit Guides are Spirits who have received special training and are highly advanced. At least one Spirit Guide is assigned to you since birth or longer. They may have no prior connection to you at all, or they could be ancestors who died before you were born or very early in your life. Who Am I Connecting With?Personally, I have learned to connect with my Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides. I have an image of what they look like and they have given me their names, so those details help me relate to them. I understand that Angels have a higher vibration but I still can't necessarily tell which beings are Angels and which are Spirits. I have decided it doesn't really matter to me. All I need to know is that they are always with me to give me guidance, and I can ask them for help at any time -- and they respond! And it doesn't matter if Grampa has received special training as a Spirit Guide or not -- I just like knowing that he's with me. Angel Card ReadingsWhen I do an Angel Card Reading, your Guardian Angels, my Guardian Angels, along with any number of the Archangels all come to the table to bring you loving messages of information and guidance. Spirit Guides may be giving guidance as well. I definitely know from what I call the "ghost factor" when a loved one from the other side has joined the session. I continue to develop my skills as a Medium to be able to interpret messages from Spirit. No matter who specifically is giving you messages during an Angel Card Reading, it is a wonderful experience that gives you guidance for moving forward with confidence. I truly love being of service. © Copyright 2014. All rights reserved. Consider that our true essence is light – the light of the Source of all that is. Compare our bodies to light bulbs which come in various shapes, sizes, and colours. The degrees of brightness and intensity compare to our souls.
Most of us come into life as an average 60 watt bulb, very capable of shining light and providing a significant purpose. Some of us will come in as 40 watt bulbs that struggle to shine. Then there are some who have a considerable glow, the 100 watt bulbs. Their light shines more brightly with peace, love, and joy, knowing that our true essence is Source light. How we see ourselves, and who we surround ourselves with, can impact how authentically we live our lives. Which bulb do you most relate to? You may have come in as a 40 watt bulb, always struggling to measure up. You would have seen a lot of negativity, difficulties, and problems. If your family consisted primarily of 100 watt bulbs, you may have been considered the black sheep. If you have been surrounded primarily by other 40 watt bulbs, you may have chosen that for yourself in order to blend in. You may occasionally witness the brightness of others but it is a harsh contrast you may tend to resist. Perhaps you came into life as a 100 watt bulb with all the confidence of knowing who you are, and continuously strive to be all that you can be. You are positive, loving, and joyful, and would have been praised and admired as an example for others. If you are a 100 watt bulb in a family or community of 40 watt bulbs, you would have always felt out of place. You would have known that you were different but also that you could rise above your circumstances. If you relate to a 60 watt bulb you can easily blend in with other levels of light, seeming dimmer or brighter depending on the circumstances. You can sense when you are among lower level light and might adjust your behaviour accordingly. You may also recognize brighter light and be very attracted to it, feeling more comfortable with your own essence. There are still many more kinds of light bulbs. There are flashlights for instance, those who are very task oriented. It doesn’t matter to them that they are the Source; they are quite content just focusing on what they came here to do. Decorative and colourful bulbs are made to look beautiful for others to notice and enjoy. They help us all to realize that our beauty comes from the inside. Spotlights, whether they know themselves as Source light or not, shine on large crowds or they may even shine on the world. They share their knowledge and insight and others are naturally drawn to them. Have you noticed in recent years that the light bulb aisle in the store has changed significantly? Now there are energy efficient bulbs that shine a more intense light. They may represent the higher level of consciousness being experienced at this time. Perhaps they represent the children of recent decades, labelled Crystal, Indigo, and Rainbow children, who came into life remembering that they are the light of the Source. They are here to show us just how much is possible. It might be that you have related to different types of bulbs at various times in your life. Perhaps you once shone brightly but circumstances in life have acted as a dimmer switch. You may have discovered a brightness switch through an increased interest in spirituality and started growing to a higher level of awareness. Despite possibly varying levels of brightness, when a number of light bulbs are on in a room all the light blends together demonstrating how we are truly one. Just like any kind of light bulb, as human beings we may flicker, experience a temporary power outage, and we may even burn out. When you need to recharge, remember that stars shine brightest in the mountains, above the ocean, wherever there is less surrounding light. Take yourself to nature, or where others are experiencing greater darkness than you, so that you can realize your own light again.
